How to Change a Theme in Gmail

Steps

1. Look at the top, right-hand corner of the page where your username is. Look a little to the right of where it says "sign out," and it should say "Help" and "Settings".

2. Click on "Settings".

3. From there pops up a page that starts out under the tab "General" but has lots of other tabs next to it. Click on the "Themes" tab.

4. Under "Themes" it will have many different options for you to choose from, including one to customize your Gmail if you don't like the choices they give you.

5. Click on whatever your preference is, and your background will change almost immediately!

Tips

• If you have slow internet, you should probably choose a more simple background, because it might take a while to load each time you get on otherwise.
